Goodnight, Little Bud...
He was a little darling.. and in the 11 years we had him, he was a very loyal companion who made us feel glad he'd come to live with us. We still have his twin, Senna, who seems to be taking things well, just being extra cuddly. He always had the ability to make us chuckle with how dirty he got.. lovely little scruff bag!
Here's my little Bud..
Rest in peace little fella.. until Rainbow Bridge..... xx
Strike are on the Ball....
Danny and his chum made it through to the finals of Britain's got Talent.. Here's the write up in the Mail.. Well done to both of you.. The program last night showed just how proud his family were, showing Pauline and his sister in the audience!
Go Strike! I'm sure all of Armthorpe are rooting for you to win!

My day out with Nikki.
Firstly, I'll introduce her..
This is Nikki.. she doesn't always look like this.. sometimes she is more normal!HAHA..She is in the process of blobbing her tongue out at me at this point!
This is Nikki and myself.. sunning ourselves at the side of the fantastic little river... photo taken by David.. Thanks hun! The little poochie is Truly, who will be renamed Trudy as soon as she goes to live with her new mummy... Nikki!
This was Holly, Scooby and Dylan playing on the 'beach' piece of the river..
little Dylan having a splash.. he really enjoyed himself... what a stunner!
My Scooby-dooby.. he is my boy! Fantastic piccie.. he won't let go of a ball for anything!
And last but not least.. a photo of Nikki having a paddle! I really didn't want to include this one of Nikki - she needed to retain a little bit of pride.. but her wonderful hubby David said I had to! So here it is.... ****giggle giggle****
The dogs had lost their ball in the water, so Nikki went to fetch it.. what a funny pic.. and what a funny lady.. You made my day Babe.. see you in a few weeks. xx

Challenge me......
This is the first one..
I used Paper Nation decoupage for this one.. and the idea for this one came from Cute Card Thursday, which gave the title as Travel/Vacation.
This card was for the challenge over at Pageplans.. where they gave you a template to work from.. this was my interpretation.. using DCWV papers and Dovecraft brad.. The only thing I forgot to stick on was my greeting..so I'll glue that in place tomorrow..
Now.. I'm off to get me cuppa coffee.. I've had a really busy (!!) day today, lounging about at the side of a river in Cumbria with my wonderful best friend Nikki.. two and half hours driving is just great when you get a luvverly cuddle at the end of it!

Feedback is good.. or is it?
I had a quick squiffy at the docrafts website over the weekend and came across this. It is such a shame when people coming to our demonstrations feel let down. I also feel it is a bit of a shame when people are being a little more specific about the details of the demo's.
All us designers at Docrafts have quite a hard job to do and everyone works in a different way. I personally like to try to involve the customer as much as I can in my demonstrations, and I have found this to work quite well.. hence my feedback here from a recent demo.
We work very hard at our demonstrations, and one of the hardest -and sometimes most nervous -things to do in the world is to sit in front of a crowd of people, talking and creating, and trying not to make a mistake! I hold my hands up to doing things wrong, and things not working too well on the day, but I just laugh it off because I know I'm not perfect.. I am a crafter and things don't always go to plan..
So.. that's me all said and done..
Back later with some new creations.. hopefully! lol

Oh what a day..
Firstly, I had a couple of emails in my inbox this morning, regarding my blog I'd set up to collect cards for the troops.. the idea came from a lady I was in contact with in America, but apparantly the write up I had wasn't totally right.. anyway, I decided to delete the blog and contact a charity here in the UK that distributes packages to our troops.. so watch this space..
Now sadly, today is the anniversary of the date we lost our beloved Asti..(below)
We lost her a year ago today, she had cancer. What an absolute stunner of a dog she was, her whole personality, her love and loyalty has always stayed with me since we lost her. Maybe it was Asti who came bombarding through my shed the other day causing all my stamps to fall on my head?? I guess I'll never know, but in case it was, I did tell her I still loved her!
And happy? Well, my new additions to the household. When we lost Asti I said I really didn't want another dog... only to end up with two little hooligans in the shape of our Springer Spaniels, Holly and Scooby. Holly was six weeks old when we got her, and Scooby came from NESSR at 18 months.. We are also currently fostering for the lovely Jackie, and have a little golden cocker, Truly, who you will have seen in the photos before.
There isn't a day goes by where I don't think of Asti, and wish she was still here.. but I know she is at Rainbow bridge with all her new friends.. love always Asti. xx

Very productive day..
This was using a Kyle stamp, coloured with prismas, and layered up onto the masculine papers from Docrafts... they have some great colours for men in there. This is for a challenge on Carolyns forum.
This card was made again from Docrafts products. I decided to make a golf ball on a tee to go with a little something else I want to make.. if you want to find out what it was, you'll have to come and see my demo at the Range, Doncaster, on Sunday. I will also let you into the secret of how to make the golf ball... lol. The lettering is X Cut.
This was a bit of quick playtime... The corner stamps are Docrafts, the stamp is Paper Nation, coloured with prismas, and the paper -I think - is K and Co.
