Does this work?
It's been really good to sit and have a faff on Photoshop and I must say, I do get a bit addicted to what it can do.
So - today, I finished colouring in a little Bunny for a card I'm making for Carley's father-in-law, so thought I'd continue playing with photoshop whilst I was at it.
Look what I made!
I took photos on each step that I did, and merged them to create this little film. I still need to faff with the quality, but it's getting there!
FYI, I used prisma's for the colouring and sansador to blend it.
Hope you likey..

oooh.. loving this CS2!
My hubby and I (oooh do I sound Royal?) called in to see Rosie and drop off a few things last week on our way to Kent, and it was a lovely visit - even if rather rushed! Now I'm planning to go and spend a day with her in the very lovely craft room (I could live in that room.. I really really could... !!)
anyway, back to the subject.. I've been working on Photoshop 7 on my older laptop for quite a while now, but since updating my lappy the other week, it wouldn't reinstall on this one.
Too old a copy for the graphics card on the new laptop. Darn it!
So.. I quizzed my darling Rosie about it (she is the Queen of Knowledge!) and I'm now upto date again, with CS2 and Lightroom after much recommendation! Wahoo!
They arrived on Thursday last week, and I've gotten around to installing them.. can't get to grips with LR.. but have relished in playing with my new CS2. One feature that I have found I really really love is photomerge.
This is what it spat out a few minutes after opening all the piccies - I took a few of the Channel Tunnel entrance in Folkestone, with anticipation of piecing them all together myself later.. but photomerge helped me out without much effort..
Thanks Rosie.. you're a star! Love you for eternity for showing me the way to CS2!
Here's the pic. Now.. you should be able to click on it to enlarge. The settings were on auto for this quick pic, so that's why there is a few different shades across it. Sorry x

Bring on the Bokeh! (a little freebie!)
I've been very inspired today by the weather, and the fact that it's getting nearer to Christmas, so I've made this background paper to share with you all.
You know, bokeh is a very interesting thing when you start playing around with it! This one is made of little stars and christmas colours.

What a scorcher!
This is the start photo..
and this is the result..

Apart from dabbling with this, I have been doing some very creative stuff for a VERY lovely person.. but cannot reveal any of this at the moment under any circumstances.. lips are very tightly sealed..
I have also had a demo this weekend up in Rochdale, at the Range.. what a store, what lovely customers and Faye, the fantastic assistant in the craft department, made my day a real hoot.. it was really busy all day.. So, thank you to everybody who made it perfect.
Yesterday was spent putting up some new fencing, and my gazebo from last year. Primarily put up for the puppies to sit under, it was lovely to sit in the shade until gone 10pm last night.. what a smashing, hot, sunburny (!!) day.
I'll be back later with some projects I have been making this last week for my demo's and the loyalty event at Papermill on Thursday.. see you there from 4pm to 8pm??

Got that Wednesday feeling!!

Nothing too technical, but finished it eventually!! I managed to get the layout done yesterday after fiddling with the floral border, but the gent who asked me to do them made a few changes last thing, so fiddled some more this morning.. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is okay!
Other than this.. not much in the way of production this week.... although I got some fantastic new papers from Trimcraft the other day... sat and stroked those for a while haha, and had a delivery of kit from Docrafts - Christmas came early!!! The kit is amazing - the vellums are wonderful, the papers are to die for (especially the raspberry) and the stamps are really pretty! Although, I did have to go and increase my stock yesterday (oooohhhh little shed fairy... where art though????)
BUT... I was also being very organised and went to the local wholesaler who is closing down (Zed Cards, Doncaster - can't believe they're closing!) and bought some gridding for my walls and some euroslots to put things on. I also got a paper storage rack, for A4 cardstock, (will take photos later!) to divide up between me and me chum, Jackie. (blimey.. she needs organising just like me.. hahahahaha.. ssshhh in case she's reading!)
So come Easter, when I have some well deserved time off, I am gutting the shed and starting again .... watch this space.. that's the plan for now!
Well.. happy crafting folks.. I feel like I am some sort of happy hoarder, and no craft creator at the minute!
