There are nine million bicycles in Berlin...

But alas, only one on my blog!

Here is a card that I've been working on bit by bit this last week, and I've just put the finishing touches to it. I had started it before we got company later in the week, but only managed to do the odd bit of colouring etc in between. Anyway.. it's finished now and I can at last show you. I didn't think I'd be able to get it finished in time as I woke up this morning with a migraine about 5.15am. It's now later in the afternoon and I'm just about normal.

I had been sat pondering since last Tuesday about what to use, because I wanted to enter a few challenges.. and the theme of Sporting Marvels came up on Passion for Promarkers, and the theme of Sparkly Bling came up on I love Promarkers.. so to kill two birds with one bicycle (lol) I made today's card to fit both.

I had completely forgotten I'd got this bike stamp, and after remembering I had it 'somewhere' I found an awful lot of other stamps I'd forgotten about too.. lol.

Anyway.. here's the finished card.

As you can see, there's lots of blingy, light-catching glitter on it, and I added extra gems around the layering.

And here's a few close ups for you of the details.

On the card above, you can see the fantastic shading that can be achieved by using Polychromos or Prismacolour pencils with your promarkers.. it just gives it that extra bit of depth where you need it.

In the photo below, you can see the lettering in more detail. I love, love, love this XCut alphabet die.. I knew when I purchased it that I'd use it often.. and I have already.

And just a few flowers - cut from the die that the topper was cut from (using all the bits that came with it) and then I added a white rose to the centres to give it more dimension.

Well.. that's it from me today.. hopefully tomorrow I'll be on fighting form and not feeling yucky like today.
