Fit for a princess

After all the excitement this morning with my PfP awards, I thought I'd post one of two cards that I made for this weeks challenge "Fit for a Princess" over at the Passion for Promarkers Challenge blog.  Before you think I'm getting a bit obsessed with this blog, I do just want to say that I love the challenge of creating cards to a theme, and as I love my Promarkers and Copics, these tend to be the blogs I look on.. and they have some great challenge themes on there. So. There you have it. Not obsessed. Just challenged! Haha.

Anyway. Onto today's card and this is the one I want to share. Now. I'm not totally happy with it - there seems to be something missing, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is... any ideas??

I also think the green isn't the right colour for the layering - I wanted a really bright little girl's card, but this green just looks 'odd' if you know what I mean..

Surprisingly though, looking through my stamps I had quite a few 'princess' style stamps, so was totally spoilt for choice.. but this image won because the package was still sealed. lol.

I did say that I'd done another card too.... and this is a sneak peek of the one I'll share tomorrow.

I do much prefer card number two... but check back tomorrow and I'll share that in full.
