Aren't flowers just beautiful?
Walking around my garden today, I noticed how even though I have many roses, no two of them are the same. They all have different petals, different shapes, and it struck me how this is very much like people.
No two people are the same - often, not even twins. Even if we look the same, have a double (blimey, I wouldn't want one of me!!!) we will all be very different in our thoughts, memories and other things.
Our experiences shape who we are, how we are, and everyone's experiences are unique to them. As I often tell my clients, everyone is unique. You can have exactly the same upbringing, childhood, school etc, and everyone will think something different about their past.
Sometimes, we just need someone to share whatever is going on in our minds, our thinking.. and that is why I'm here. To listen and to validate how you are feeling. Without judgement. Without knowing exactly what you are going through. For you to tell me what you need me to know, so we can explore it together.
Pretty much like exploring my garden with another. Everyone notices something different - so let's explore it together and see if we can make sense of things and create change.
