Thank You

I thought last night that I would have a little play with the new die and embossing folders I've got. Here is a close up of the card. **edited to add, for all those who have asked, the embossing folder is a Marianne Designs one, and came from Craft Zone in Pontefract. **

The folders emboss the design, and also make the cut outs too - very classy - and it saves all the hard work. Just perfect actually, for a less is more card! And funnily enough, it fits in with this weeks challenge over at the Less is More Challenge blog where they are wanting a Thank You or Congratulations card.

I did a couple of cards, both slightly different. The embossed panels are layered onto grey and the flowers are from two different colour grey's.. however, I didn't realise that one of them looked more purple! Hey ho..

I also included a layer of embossing at the back of the panel to add a little more elegance to the card.

Now, this weekend I am doing two demo's. On Saturday I'm down at Delta Pi in Selly Oak (you can check out all dates for demo's at the top of my blog on the 'come and play' section), and I am at Craft Central in Derby Garden Centre on Sunday.

These are a few of the cards I'm taking with me to the demo's.. no details really needed, but if you need to know anything then please just ask.
